What are we looking for?
Aavenir is seeking a dynamic and innovative Solution Architect to develop and implement a systems architecture that will meet business needs! Your responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing development teams. The role requires the candidate to have strong problem-solving skills and good business acumen. Prior experience in Solution Architecting and designing of e-procurement software & “procure to pay” or “source to pay” (P2P / S2P) products or any other similar strategic sourcing / e-sourcing / procure2pay / Source2pay product suite.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud (SaaS) procurement Source to Pay software implementation projects and support procurement transformation projects – must have full project lifecycle experience as Solution Lead on two or more procurement implementation projects.
- Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects.
- For the solution design elements, you need to have a good understanding of Source to Pay business processes and be able to lead client-facing design workshops to map as-is and to-be processes and deliver an acceptable solution design for client sign-off.
- Develop deep functional expertise in Aavenir Solutions, maintain documentation and train & drive clients on the out-of-the-box solution.
- Document system design and set expectations for delivery.
- Complete preliminary configuration of the Aavenir solution and work with the team to deliver advanced configurations and enhancements.
- Serve as mentor to colleagues and project team in industry and implementation best practices.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members across multiple streams, services, and organizations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or master’s in: Technology Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a comparable degree program.
- Should have at-least 4+ years' experience working as Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proven track record in Source to Pay / Procure to Pay / Contract Life Cycle Management /Spend Management, or Accounts Payable domain or ServiceNow Ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Experience in hands-on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with a fair understanding of what makes a good user experience and beautiful design.
- Ability to work, scale & grow in a start-up environment.
