Compare · Agiloft
An Agiloft alternative with no new platform to integrate.
Agiloft is a highly configurable contract lifecycle management with a large connector library and a long run as a Gartner leader. Aavenir is the alternative when you would rather configure contracts inside ServiceNow than connect another platform to it.
Definition
What should you compare when choosing between Agiloft and Aavenir?
Compare how each product fits the systems you already run, how much configuration it needs, who will maintain it after go-live, and what it covers before and after signature. Agiloft calls itself a data-first agreement platform, configured without code and connected to other systems through more than 1,000 pre-built connectors. Aavenir takes a different route: on ServiceNow, its apps run in the instance itself, so contracts share users, roles, workflow and audit history with everything else there.
Then compare scope. Both cover pre-signature and post-signature contract work, with AI extraction and obligation tracking. Aavenir adds sourcing events, supplier onboarding and invoice to contract checks on the same record, and checks uploaded evidence before an obligation closes.
- Agiloft is strong on no-code configurability
- Agiloft cites 1,000+ connectors, including Salesforce, SAP and Oracle
- Aavenir runs in ServiceNow, so fewer connections are needed there
- Aavenir adds RFx, supplier onboarding and AP on one record
- Both use AI for extraction and obligations

Common questions
What is a good Agiloft alternative for ServiceNow shops?
Aavenir, because its apps run natively in the ServiceNow instance rather than connecting to it. Contracts reuse your users, roles, workflow and audit history, and existing ServiceNow admins manage the configuration. Teams without ServiceNow can run the same apps standalone. See ServiceNow contract management.
Is Aavenir as configurable as Agiloft?
Agiloft is known for point and click configuration of almost any process. Aavenir offers no-code configuration of templates, clause libraries and approval rules, and on ServiceNow it inherits the platform's workflow tools. Teams with very unusual processes should test both. See Contractflow.
Does Agiloft include sourcing and invoice processing?
Agiloft focuses on contracts and connects to procurement and finance systems through its connectors. Aavenir includes RFPflow for sourcing events, Onboardingflow for supplier verification and Invoiceflow for invoice processing, all on the same record as the contract. See Invoiceflow.
How do Agiloft and Aavenir handle obligations?
Both extract obligations with AI and track them after signature. Aavenir also checks the evidence: Aavenir AI builds a checklist from the clause, compares the uploaded certificate or report against it, and a person confirms before the obligation closes. See Obligationflow.
