Contract obligation management softwareProof, not reminders.
Aavenir Obligationflow finds every obligation in a signed contract, gives it an owner and a date, collects the evidence by email, and has AVY, Aavenir's AI agent, check that evidence against the clause before anyone closes the task.

Did Northwind's certificate actually meet clause 12.3?
Yes. The limit, the insured wording and the policy dates all meet the clause. I recommend closing the task.

What is contract obligation management?
Contract obligation management is the process of finding every commitment in a signed contract, such as payments, SLAs, insurance, reporting and termination notice, assigning each one an owner and a due date, and keeping evidence that it was met. Contract obligation management software automates that process after signature.
Aavenir Obligationflow collects the evidence by email and has AI check it against the clause, so a task closes only when the obligation is proven.
A reminder tells someone the certificate is due. It cannot tell you whether the certificate meets the clause. Obligationflow checks.
Every signed contract creates a web of obligations.
SLAs to meet, payments to track, insurance to keep current and regulatory requirements to fulfil. When they are tracked by hand in inboxes and spreadsheets, deadlines slip, penalty clauses trigger and disputes follow.

What contract, risk and supplier managers ask first.
What is contract obligation management software?
Contract obligation management software finds every commitment in a signed contract, such as payments, SLAs, insurance and termination notice, assigns each one an owner and a due date, and keeps evidence that it was met. Aavenir Obligationflow also has AI check that evidence against the clause before the task closes.
What makes Obligationflow different from CLM reminders?
Reminders tell an owner a date is coming. Obligationflow also collects the evidence by email reply and has AI check it against the clause, so a task closes only when the obligation is proven. It works alongside any CLM, ERP or document system.
How does AI extract obligations from a contract?
AVY reads the contract, whether it is a PDF, a Word file or a scanned image, and lists its obligations by category, such as insurance, payments, SLAs and termination, each with a description, a frequency and a flag for obligations triggered by an event. It also extracts key terms like dates, counterparty and amounts. A contract manager reviews the list before any task is created.
How does Obligationflow verify evidence that an obligation was met?
AVY builds a criteria checklist from the obligation, reads the document that came back, such as an insurance certificate, a compliance certification or a financial statement, and recommends closing or rejecting the task with its reasons. The owner reviews the recommendation and makes the decision.
Do we have to replace our CLM?
No. Obligationflow imports contracts from any CLM, ERP or document management system and works alongside what you already run. On Aavenir Contractflow, obligations flow in at signature with no import step.
Is Obligationflow a ServiceNow obligation management app?
Yes. Obligationflow is built on the ServiceNow platform, so on ServiceNow its tasks use your users, roles, workflow and audit history. It also serves companies that do not run ServiceNow, with the same AI extraction and the same evidence checks.
Can we track obligations that are not written in the contract?
Yes. Add them from the obligation library, create them by hand, or bulk upload them from Excel. They get owners, due dates, reminder emails and evidence checks, the same as any obligation AVY extracted from a contract.
How does obligation management reduce revenue leakage?
Missed obligations cost money through penalties, lost service credits and unclaimed incentives. Obligationflow tracks the obligations tied to those amounts, flags the ones at risk on a dashboard by dollar value, and with Invoiceflow checks invoices against the contracted rates.
Send three contracts. Get their obligations back.
In a 30 minute session AVY extracts the obligations from your sample contracts, and we show how each one would be assigned, collected and verified.
