Microsoft Word Plugin - Negotiate better using clause library
This webinar is session II of the 3 session series on the Microsoft WORD Plugin.
A clause library is a powerful tool that helps bring in standardization across the organization in the way it negotiates its contracts. Essentially the clause library contains a categorized list of alternate/fallback clauses with pre-approved language, that can be used to negotiate a companies alternate positions. This has the obvious advantage that the process of negotiation is uniform across the organization, no matter who is negotiating the contract. This also helps to standardize the risk in the contracts. Additionally, it helps empower managers to drive the bulk of the negotiations by themselves instead of having to request intervention from legal, thus immensely speeding up the contracting process and avoiding undue load on the already over-burdened and lean legal team.
